Who is Aron Saether Jackson?
Aron Saether Jackson is the co-founder of Rankd, the global gamer ladder that turns everything a player has ever done in gaming into a single rank. Aron owns the engine room: the signal model, the scoring that weighs performance, reach, consistency, breadth and momentum, and the daily 00:00 UTC recompute that moves every position on the ladder.
His benchmark for the ranking is simple — it has to feel fair to a world champion and exciting to someone whose entire gaming résumé is a Facebook farm game. If both keep checking their number, the engine is working. Like the big search engines, Rankd keeps the exact weightings in a vault: the signals are public, the formula is not.
Aron co-founded Rankd in Australia with Ricky Saether Jackson, bringing more than a decade of building at the intersection of gaming, hardware and live events — from gaming PCs to large-scale activations, including a 14-tonne armoured vehicle rebuilt into a Battlefield booth that drew more than 100,000 players. That instinct for turning gaming into something people physically climb into now runs through the ladder itself.
