the golden compass

Apparently based off the book which I have never read, I enjoyed this movie until the ending. It was a bit uneasy with where the ending left you at the time, but it sets forth a possibility of a sequel? The plot of the movie was really interesting and was enjoyable from start to finish. They really did a good job at not making it too similar to any other fantasy land/world.
