This is the best movie I have seen in a very long time. From start to beginning, I was overwhelmed. Christian Bale delivers another solid performance as the tormented vigilante. Though I was very skeptical when I first heard Heath Ledger was playing the Joker, I was blown away by how good he was. He WILL win an oscar for this flick, He was awesome. Creepy, distrubing and ruthless, the character of the Joker, was perfectly played.
Christopher Nolan's movies are amazing. I have seen everyone of his flicks, and each one is in my favorite movie catagory. The way he made the Batman saga so dark was great.
See this movie. I have seen 2 already, and will pay to see it again.
This movie is the best comic port-over in history. Check IMDB, it has an insane rating, and rightfully so. Its truly a tragedy what happened to Heath Ledger. No one will be able to repeat that performance.
it did drag a lil' but i like how they killed off Two-Face, because he didn't seem like a strong enpoguh villian to carry out in a third film (which they are making I read). I think they had to make the film longer to tie up any loose ends with Harvey Dent. Other than that, I agree with Mike. The Joker rules, and Heath Ledger should get an Oscar. Even though all of his other movies blew ("The Brothers Grimm" Get real) he was the freakin man in this flick.
best movies in the past 10 years. it felt like watched a departed or untouchables. it really felt more like a crime drama than a batman. heath ledger was really the scene stealer. he was litterally mesmorizing. awesome awesome movie
The reason that this was such a great movie was not because it was a batman movie, because I am not a batman fan at all, yet i still loved this movie because the Joker was a GOOD well thought, well PLANNED villain. He was someone who you rooted for even though he was an utter bad guy. His devious plans were not thwarted easily which made you say, wow this guy actually might win, and not just "what a retard batman is gonna kick his ass." The fact that Heath Ledger played the Joker so well just adds to the intensity of the movie.
I think by now everyone has seen this movie and bragged about their wet dreams after... I checked it out in iMAX and it was pretty good. The expectations were ridiculous based on all the hype but it was pretty good.
