For some reason I hated this when I first played it, but it quickly turned into my second favorite mario game of all time (with super mario 64 being the top). The concept of gravity/gravitational forces in this game really makes it unique and provides a whole different gaming experience. I doubt Nintendo could ruin a mario game, though mario sunshine was a bit off target. Make sure you play this game if you own a wii. My only issue is that mario has a horrible replay value. After you finish the game, it should unlock some type of online play. They're all great games, but I never touch them again after saving that damn princess.
Galaxy really held it down. Ice Flowers... Genius.
I have yet to beat the game, but as far as Mario Games go, I would say this is an instant classic, the best Mario since 64. Let us all forget about sunshine, that game was garbage.
This is a great game. Getting back to the more traditional style of Mario type play i.e. more like Mario 64 then like Mario Sunshine. A huge game that gives a diverse array of worlds and adventures. Defiantly worth checking out.
