sins of a solar empire

I was excited for this game because I have always wanted a good space real-time-strategy game. Unfortunately I did not like this game because of how slow everything is. When I order a ship to attack, i want instant gratification. The global economy and such is good, but the game is supposed to be about combat, and it really doesn't shine there.
