Natural selection is a free mod for half-life. The game is getting a little older now so it does not have the best graphics, but the gameplay is very fun. In the game you choose either to be an alien or a human marine. The aliens have a hive mind that gives them information and they can evolve to different breeds such as the builder species or one of the larger strong deadly species. The marines have one person who acts as a birds-eye-view commander who drops all the equipment, upgrades, and buildings for the marines. This game is worth trying out, it runs with steam, you may need to own a version of half-life to play however.
