Over all a good game. I'm not a huge First Person Shooter fan but I've played this entire series and liked each one of them.
People seem to go nuts for the battle mode but in all honesty I think a lot of that is ban wagon sh**. The multi player is over rated. It's good but its not the end all be all in that game.
The game itself is good, it gives Halo players the gaming experience that they have come to expect from such a title. The controls rule, and the graphics and sound are phenomenal as usual. The game play is tough an really makes you work on harder levels (yes Legendary is do able). The only weak point here is the plot I feel it could have been beefed up a little more.
Over all a solid B snag it if you like Halo or first person shooters.
I'm a huge fan of the Halo series, and the third installment did not let me down. I like the storyline a lot, mostly because Master Chief is such a badass.
The graphics were great. The controls took me a little while to get used to (they changed how the triggers work) and I really liked the additions of new items, grenades and vehicles (Mongooses rock).
I haven't played much on the multiplayer yet, but no complaints from what I've seen.
Overall, this game was a lot of fun; enough so that I will go back (sometime) and beat it on Legendary for the extra cutscene...
I think that the only thing that really makes this game is the online play, other than than its just another Halo game and in my eyes halo 2 is the best for that. I think they got a bit to fancy with the shield things and whatever. I love the multi-player for Halo 2 and Halo 3 is just right under it. No a bad game, but just not new enough to be better.
